You told “earth is flat”, they told “it’s not”, you asked “prove it then” (and killed some of them); they told “hold on”. After some time they proved it.
You told “earth centric”, they told “it’s not”, you asked “prove it then” (and killed some more of them); they told “hold on”. After some time they proved it.

You told “creation”, they told “big bang”, you asked “prove it then”, and they told “hold on”… And now, here it is 🙂

Planck telescope traps ~14b old light and creates composite image of universe. This ancient light were remains of Big bang.
this photograph is not a proof to big bang. atleast I haven’t read so anywhere. it is just a 360 degrees view of electromagnetic wave spectrum of how our sky looks. obviously light captured may be billions of years old due to astronomical distances, but again doesnt proove it to be remains of bigbang.

And they told “hold on, this is just initial picture, we will come up with detailed explanation once we have more data” 😉 This is not simple image of 360 degree view, it is filtered image of ancient light. We should wait for them to come up wih more results and explanation in a language which can be understood by you and me. This alone does not prove big bang, but it cirtainly provides more data towords study on that. I celebrate every such milestones 😉

I agree. And it always bothers me – even now, that Galileo Galilei was burnt alive. We haven’t changed much, we are still the same 😦

I dont think we was burnt alive. Possible that he was,for “offence” he did. I need to check this one..

I have read/heard both the versions, was or was not burnt – but even a threat is equally bad 😐
