Returning to Blogging: My 52-Post Challenge

Okay, I am back. After an embarrassingly long pause, I resolved to blog again. Although it’s for a different purpose for now, let’s see how long I can keep up writing at this time. In an era when all textual content is being outsourced to the GPTs, Geminis, Copilots, and Bards; writing handwritten posts may be silly and counterproductive. but I still resolve to do it. I am resuming my blogging with complete knowledge of all my previous readers (all three) and have moved on to consume content on Instagram Reals and YouTube shorts. Also, they have grown not to tolerate content for more than 10 seconds, which means I will be talking to myself.

… which is ideal because I have no pressure to write about “me, myself, and my ego.”. The resolution is that I plan to write 52 posts at the minimum during 2025.

Since I am talking about resolutions, let me list all five of them

  1. I plan to read 52 books this year. A habit/resolution that I have been, more often than now, keeping up rather than failing for a decade. Writing part of this grouping of resolution.
  2. My phone tracks 18 habits every day, and by the end of the year. I hope to achieve at least 75% compliance with all of them. So far, so good.
  3. I have close to 10 items remaining on my bucket list/Wishlist; I plan to grow it to 52 by the end of the year and close at least 5 of them. For example, playing basketball, which I have never done in my life, would be my first target.
  4. Health creation. Thanks to automatic habits, I am now relatively healthier than I have been for two decades; I still have a couple of inches left. I am not looking for perfection but an inch closer to it.
  5. Learning to say Yes to many things I should and learning to say No to many things I should. I know this can not be measured against tangible numbers, but I know when I know.

If you are reading this and are not a bot, please give me a thumbs up or like and wish me luck.
