  1. Hey I noticed one more error – Do you see the Inverted ‘N’ just below the English ‘W’ on the logo? Thats the Russian language and does not mean ‘Wi’. It is just the equivalent of english letter ‘I’. ‘Wi’ in Russian would be ‘BN’ (of course the inverted ‘N’, but I dont have it on my keyboard). Phewww… these wiki guys are really language illiterate…

  3. I dont think you should go around calling Sanskrit the mother of Kannada dude! If you say something on the web, please present substantial (usable) proof of that stuff! Else, dont say it.

At least because of the fact that there exists no proof of Sanskrit being the mother of Kannada language, I claim that Sanskrit is not the mother of Kannada. Besides there are several researches done (which I am sure you can trace in wikipedia) to prove this very point – Kannada and Sanskrit are of different TYPES and they cant be related at all. Its just that the new-age kannada that I and you use have incorporated a lot of (unwanted) Sanskrit terms for which we DO HAVE kannada equivalents.

Anyway, certainly thank you for the interest in pointing out error related to kannada “wi” on the wiki logo. Thanks!
