True, I’ve never seen a owl before, this close. Its apparently pet of someone in south England.
He/she did not seem to bother with flash, (my gf clicked it btw)
Nothing to write actually. Its someone’s pet (unfortunately), but I take a guess that it is more well fed and taken care than in a zoo.
Two things I noticed
a) They grow real big, this one had wing span more than a meter !!! shocking
b) They can rotate their head 360 degrees over their neck!! I read about it, but shocking to see it myself.
